Continuous Help to Teachers of English from Secondary and Senior
Secondary Schools.
After
successful implementation of ELISS, Mentoring and CHESS Projects for secondary
level, the school education department has decided to widen the range of the
project to the senior secondary (higher secondary / Junior college) level from
the year 2019-20.

The Objectives:-
1) To build the
capacity of the teachers to deal with the senior secondary level English
language course-book effectively.
2) To enable teachers to share how their
learners relate learning of English to day-to-day life.
3) To boost the confidence of the teachers to
use English language effectively in the classroom as well as in the school
environment to provide maximum exposure.
4) To enable teachers to integrate technology
in the teaching-learning process (blended-learning).
5) To facilitate
teachers to develop communication skill of the learners, mainly the speaking
skill.
6) To develop an
‘English Speaking Eco-System’ where learners become active users of English.
