   At a corner of Sixth Avenue electric lights and cunningly displayed wares behind plate glass made a shop window attractive. Soapy took a stone and dashed it through the glass. People came running round the corner, a policeman in the lead. Soapy stood still with his hands in his pockets, and smiled at the sight of brass buttons.

“Where’s the man that done that?” inquired the officer agitatedly.

“Don’t you think that I might have had something to do with it?” said Soapy, with a friendly voice, as one greets good fortune.

The policeman refused to accept Soapy even as a clue. Men who smash windows do not remain to chat with the police. They take to their heels. The policeman saw a man half-way down the block running to catch a car. With drawn club he joined in the pursuit. Soapy, with disgust in his heart, drifted along, twice unsuccessful.

On the opposite side of the street was a restaurant of no great pretensions. It catered to large appetites and modest purses. Its crockery and atmosphere were thick; its soup and napery thin. Into this place Soapy betook himself without challenge. At a table he sat and consumed beefsteak, flapjacks, doughnuts and pie. And then he told the waiter the fact that the minutest coin and himself were total strangers.

“Now, get busy and call a cop”, said Soapy. “And don’t keep a gentleman waiting.”

“No cop for you,” said the waiter, with a voice like butter cakes and an eye like the cherry in the Manhattan cocktail. “Hey, Con!”

Neatly upon his left ear on the callous pavement two waiters pitched Soapy. He arose, joint by joint, as a carpenter’s rule opens, and dusted his clothes. Arrest seemed now but an elusive dream. The island seemed very far away. A policeman who stood before a drugstore two doors away laughed and walked down the street.

Evaluation Process for Std. XII for the year 2020-21

(This is just the summary of the G.R. So see original G.R. for more information. Information given in the G.R. must be considered as authorized.)

 

A) Regular Fresh Students नियमित विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी कार्यपद्धती

1) उच्च माध्यमिक प्रमाणपत्र (इ.१२वी) परीक्षा सन २०२१ साठी प्रविष्ट विद्यार्थ्यांचे मूल्यमापन करताना शासन निर्णय दि.०८ ऑगस्ट २०१९ मधील विषयनिहाय लेखी व तोंडी/ प्रात्यक्षिक/ अंतर्गत मूल्यमापन यासाठी निर्धारित केलेले गुण कायम ठेवण्यात यावेत.

While evaluating the students enrolled for the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std. XII) Examination 2021, the marks prescribed for the subject wise written and oral / practical / internal evaluation in Government Resolution dated 08 August 2019 should be maintained.

2) मूल्यमापन जी.आर.नुसार तोंडी / प्रात्यक्षिक / अंतर्गत मूल्यमापन यासाठी मंडळाच्या सूचनांप्रमाणे आयोजित परीक्षांमध्ये विषयनिहाय प्रत्यक्ष प्राप्त झालेले गुण अंतिम मुल्यमापनात घेण्यात यावेत.

Assessment According to the GR, for oral / practical / internal assessment, as per the instructions of the board, the actual marks obtained in the examinations should be taken in the final assessment.


3) शासन निर्णय दि.०८ ऑगस्ट २०१९ नुसार याबाबतच्या गुणांची सर्वसाधारण विभागणी पुढीलप्रमाणे आहे.

As per Government Resolution dated 08 August 2019, the general division of marks in this regard is as follows.

5) दहावी च्या गुणांची मंडळ स्तरावर पडताळणी करण्यासाठी सदर विद्यार्थ्याने इ. १० वी उत्तीर्ण केलेल्या परीक्षेचा महिना, वर्ष व बैठक क्रमांक नोंदवावा. सदर विद्यार्थी एका पेक्षा अधिक वेळा मंडळाच्या परीक्षेस प्रविष्ट झाला असल्यास सूट मिळालेल्या प्रत्येक विषयासमोर त्या परीक्षेचे महिना, वर्ष व बैठक क्रमांक नोंद करावा.

In order to verify the marks of class X at the board level, the information of student’s month - year of passing and seat number of tenth class should be recorded. If the student has appeared in the board examination more than once, the month, year and the seat number of the examination should be recorded in front of each subject which is exempted.


6) इयत्ता १२ वी च्या ज्या विषयांसाठी १०० गुणांचे तोंडी / प्रात्यक्षिक परीक्षा / तत्सम मूल्यमापन निर्धारित केले आहे अशा विषयांसाठी इ.१० वी व इ.११ वी चे गुण विचारात घेतले जाणार नाहीत.

For 10th standard subjects for which 100 marks oral / practical examination / similar assessment has been done, marks of 10th standard and 11th standard will not be considered.


7) इतर मंडळाच्या विद्यार्थ्यांच्या बाबतीत त्याचे इ.१० वी च्या परीक्षेच्या मूळ गुणपत्रकावरून सर्वोत्तम गुण मिळालेल्या ३ विषयांचे सरासरी गुण (१०० पैकी) काढून संगणक प्रणालीत भरण्यात यावेत.

In case of other board students, the average marks (out of 100) of the three subjects which got the best marks of the 10th standard examination should be taken out and filled in the computer system.


8) अन्य मंडळातून इ.११ वी उत्तीर्ण होऊन इ, १२ वी साठी राज्य मंडळाशी संलग्न उच्च माध्यमिक शाळा/ कनिष्ठ महाविद्यालयात प्रविष्ट झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्याच्या बाबतीत संबंधित मंडळाच्या इ.११ वी च्या अंतिम निकालाच्या आधारे उपरोक्त (7) प्रमाणे कार्यवाही करावी.

In case of a student who has passed 11th class from other board and entered higher secondary school / junior college affiliated to state board for 12th class, action should be taken as above (7) on the basis of final result of 11th class of the concerned board.


9) राज्य मंडळाच्या व अन्य मंडळाच्या विद्यार्थ्याबाबत इ. १२ वी मध्ये प्रविष्ट झालेल्या विषयांपैकी एक किंवा अधिक विषय इ.११ वी मध्ये घेतलेले नसल्यास अशा विषयांसाठी इ.११ वी मध्ये घेतलेल्या अन्य विषयांची सरासरी विचारात घेऊन १०० पैकी गुण निश्चित करावेत व ते अशा एक किंवा अधिक विषयांना देऊन उपरोक्तप्रमाणे कार्यवाही करावी.

Regarding students of State Board and other Boards etc. If one or more of the subjects entered in 12th class are not taken in 11th class, then for such students’ other subjects taken in 11th class should be taken into consideration and marks out of 100 should be fixed and it should be given to one or more such subjects.


10) इ. १२ वी च्या वर्षभरातील अंतर्गत मूल्यमापनातील प्रथम सत्र परीक्षा, सराव परीक्षा, सराव चाचण्या, तत्सम मूल्यमापन यातील विषयनिहाय गुण:

Filling of subject wise marks in the first term examination, practice examination, practice tests, similar assessment in the internal assessment of 12th year:

उच्च माध्यमिक शाळांनी / कनिष्ठ महाविद्यालयाने विषयनिहाय मंजूर आराखड्यानुसार वर्षभर ऑनलाईन / ऑफलाईन पद्धतीने प्रथम सत्र परीक्षा, सराव परीक्षा, सराव चाचण्या वा तत्सम मूल्यमापन केलेले असेल तर त्यामध्ये विद्यार्थ्यास विषयनिहाय प्राप्त झालेले गुण तसेच सदर गुण किती पैकी आहेत ( सदर विषयासाठी एकूण किती गुणांचे अंतर्गत मूल्यमापन आयोजित केले) इत्यादी तपशील संगणक प्रणालीत भरण्याची सुविधा असेल. यासंदर्भात, वर्षभरात एक किंवा त्यापेक्षा अधिक जेवढ्या परीक्षांसाठी विद्यार्थी प्रविष्ठ झाला असेल तेवढ्याच परीक्षांचे गुण भरण्यात यावेत.

If the Higher Secondary Schools / Junior Colleges have conducted first term examinations, practice examinations, practice tests or similar assessments online / offline throughout the year as per the subject wise approved plan, the subject wise marks obtained by the student should be filled in the computer system.

In this regard, marks should be filled for the same number of examinations as the student has entered for one or more examinations during the year.


11) अपवादात्मक परिस्थितीत ज्या उच्च माध्यमिक शाळांनी उपरोक्त मूल्यमापन आयोजित केले नसेल त्यांनी प्रचलित पद्धतीने/ अन्य पर्यायी पद्धतीचा वापर करून ऑनलाईन / अन्य शक्य पर्यायी पद्धतीने मूल्यमापन करून विद्यार्थ्यांना गुणदान करावे व सदर गुण संगणक प्रणालीमध्ये नमूद करावेत.

In exceptional circumstances, the higher secondary schools which have not conducted the any assessment should evaluate the students online / other possible alternative method using the regular method / other alternative method and complete the evaluation process and fill the marks in the computer system.

 

12) श्रेणी विषयांचे मूल्यमापन

श्रेणी विषयांसाठी विहित पद्धतीने व यावर्षी मंडळाने दिलेल्या विशेष मार्गदर्शक सुचना विचारात घेऊन गुणदान करून विद्यार्थ्यांना प्राप्त झालेल्या श्रेणी, संगणक प्रणालीमध्ये नमूद कराव्यात.

The grades obtained by the students should be mentioned in the computer system in the prescribed manner for the grade subjects and considering the special guidelines given by the board this year.


13) उपरोक्त कार्यप्रणालीनुसार अंतिम करण्यात आलेल्या निकालाने समाधान न झालेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी कोविड १९ ची परिस्थिती सर्वसामान्य झाल्यानंतर राज्य मंडळामार्फत प्रचलित पध्दतीनुसार आयोजित केल्या जाणाऱ्या परीक्षांमध्ये श्रेणीसुधार योजनेअंतर्गत लगतच्या दोन संधी उपलब्ध असतील. उच्च माध्यमिक प्रमाणपत्र परीक्षा श्रेणीसुधार योजनेचे (Class Improvement Scheme) सर्व नियम या विद्यार्थ्यांना लागू असतील.

For the students who are not satisfied with the final result as per the above procedure, after the situation of Covid 19 becomes normal, there will be two opportunities available under the grade improvement scheme in the examinations conducted by the State Board as per the prevailing system. All the rules of Class Improvement Scheme will be applicable to these students.

तोंडी परीक्षा कशी घेता येईल:

How to take oral exam:

1) प्रत्यक्ष विद्यार्थ्यांना कॉलेज मध्ये बोलवून कमीत कमी विद्यार्थी संख्येचे गट करून व कोरोना नियमांचे पालन करून घेता येईल.

The students can be called to the college by grouping them into minimum number to conduct the oral test. The rules and regulations of the corona threat must be followed.

2) विद्यार्थ्यांना Whats App सारख्या माध्यमातून audio clip / video clip पाठवून श्रवण कौशल्य ची 10 गुणांची टेस्ट घेणे.

तसेच विद्यार्थ्यांना स्वत:च्या भाषणाची audio clip / video clip शिक्षकांना पाठवायला सांगून भाषण कौशल्य ची 10 गुणांची टेस्ट घेणे.

Take a 10-mark test of listening skill by sending audio clip / video clip to students through a medium like WhatsApp.

Also ask the students to send audio clip / video clip of their own speech to the teacher to take a test of 10 marks of speaking skill.
